Any color you like!my mom has has a peachy yellow color which looks nice with dark furniture.I also love any aqua colored bedroom. I really depends on what you like, your style furniture.Alot of people like to keep the walls neutral so they can change out the linens for a new look.I love color!

Valspar has a BEAUTIFUL collection at Lowe's!! The finish is Satin, and I LOVE it!! You can go in and get an entire swatch sample collection on a ring, and it shows the different colors that go well together. I absolutely, and HIGHLY recommend this paint!!

You can also get decorative ceiling "tiles" that are plastic, but, you can spray paint them gold, silver, bronze, or, bright white, and affix them to your ceiling tiles to freshen up the look of the room. My friends have done this in a couple of their rooms, in a 1956 year built home, and it looks great!!

Better Homes and Gardens in the June issue had a feature "Creamy & Golden" and Behr's "Applie Core" is very pretty. It is a cream with just a hit of bright which you might want to consider since it will not absorb the available light in the room. You can get a swatch and perhaps even a sample at Home Depot. I tore out the page and am considering this color mixed with Sherwin-Williams "Ivoire". Good luck!

I like Sundrenched Sand in Colorplace found at Walmart. It's a warm light cream color. Looks beautiful with white bedding. You can add a pop of color with accent pillows!

Every one have their own choice of colors. But I would say, if considering little natural light, any light color shade such as baby pink, light yellow, gray etc. will be best suitable.
  • I would paint it in antique white. It's a great neutral for dark space and it can be accented with any color at all.
