Do you have an area of your garden that sits in the shade? So do I. This can be a real challenge to get some variety going.
Never fear. I have assembled my collection of my favorite plants that I have growing, some in full shade with great success.
These pictures are only a few of them. Be sure to visit my website to see more than 20 great shade plants

Who says plants in the shade can't be happy. This border gets only a couple of hours in the late afternoon of sunlight. The rest of the day, it sits in the shade.
No shade garden would be complete without some hostas. I've assembled about 8 of them that love my shade.
The leaves of coral bells can vary widely. I love the deep color of these.
I killed my first old fashioned bleeding heart by putting it in a sunny bed. This one just LOVES the shade.
This ostrich fern is about 3 feet wide and faces a north exposure that gets very little sunlight.
