Sweet Dreams Pillow Tutorial

Every room need a hand crafted piece or two to make it feel more homey, and I decided to add this "sweet dreams" pillow to our newly decorated guest room for some cozy warmth. This project is perfect for beginners as it utilizes just three different stitches and the finishing is straight line sewing.
Easy to make hand embroidered pillow. There is a guide for the colors used, but you can make it your own using any colors to match your decor.
Included in the tutorial are directions for transferring the image (free download) and links to videos with directions on each stitch.
Use a blind stitch to finish the open edge and you will have yourself a handmade 12" x 16" pillow.

Interesting to see this today - last night I searched the Internet for embroidery directions. I embroidered when I was young. I am 70 now and thought I needed a refresher. I'm going to make "tooth pillows" for my grandchildren and embroider their names on them - example: "Will's Tooth" on a little pocket added to the middle of the small pillow. I was trying to figure out what stitch to use. Thanks for the idea!
