Chalkboard Serving Tray for Under $10
I wanted a large functional serving tray for indoor and outdoor summer entertaining. I couldn't find one I liked at a good price, so I decided to make my own!
I bought a ready cut piece of wood at Lowe's. I used some dark wood stain I had in my garage and I used a foam roller for the chalkboard paint from a past project.
After everything dried, I seasoned my chalkboard by covering it with chalk and loaded it up for our taco bar!
