I built this arbor out of leftovers from other projects. wanted it to look a little more non traditional so i decided to paint it in earth tones. paint was left over from recent awing project and worked out perfect. I would like to grow some kind of flowering vines up each side. area gets sun in the afternoon and evening. any suggestions? I want a perennial plant that will eventually grow over the top for shade.

You've done a great job. For a relatively small arbor like that, it's hard to grow wrong with climbing roses. Zepherine Drouhin is a beautiful, and largely thornless, one. Pair with clematis for a classic combination.
