The House, The Gardens… Leaving Them Will Be so Hard.

Well… we have sold Hoop Top House… leaving will be very hard so we have decided to enjoy every last minute we have left here. The gardens are a place I love to relax and regroup in… they are filled with collected plants gathered from friends and families gardens. We even have a few rocks from our farm many years ago… everything here was planted and nurtured by Kent and I… a labour of love from laying all the cobblestones to planning the shape and layout of all the garden spaces… every inch a dirt under the nails joy! I hope you enjoy the photos and please pop over and see the whole post if you have time!
The back patio is where we spend most of our down time...
We added antique windows to the garage overhang to create a covered sitting area and a place to hang the canoe!
This is what we started with...
Seems like just yesterday but it was five years ago now… I still wear the same shoes and sunglasses LOL!

One of the best things we can do in life is to leave something better than we found it. You did this. Best wishes for your future.

So pretty! Perhaps your new adventure will lead you to a place with a 'Zen' garden that you only have to "tweek" to make your own. I drive by the rental my daughter used to live in to see how the things I planted are doing. Sadly she moved before they became so huge!
