Natural Birdhouses

I make this using naturally weathered wood usually found in flood areas. They are fully functional with removable bottoms for cleanout and size perfect for the smaller songbirds of ...»
Pennsylvania. They look like the gnomes have created them for their feathered friends.

Yes Susan,,,a birdproof squirrel feeder is what I meant. Keep it away from your birdfeeders so ...»
the squirrels have their own space to feed.

  • The handle truly makes the toolbox in this case. Choose your handle, then build your box around it.
  • Fun details!
  • This is where it sits most of the time... sure beats a plain 'ol cup for those pens. :)
  • Wish to give it a try? Here's a sample of the how to on the blog at:

Make a drill handled toolbox

I LOVE vintage toolboxes. I find them incredibly versatile to use in one's home from a table centrepiece to pen storage beside the phone. But they aren't always easy to find, not to ...»
mention price efficient if you're going after vintage.

So... I invented a 'one board toolbox'. One board was cut to create all the sides and bottom. Pick your funky handle of choice to start and you're on your way.

  • The framework was worked out so the desk had productive space underneath for the chair and rolling files.

  • Naturally a little bit of repurposing had to come into play somewhere. :)

My $3.00 farm table styled pallet desk

Desiring a substantial desk for my work office located in my basement, this long farm table styled desk was created with pallet boards and reclaimed cedar planks for about $3.00. (had to ...»
buy new screws!)

It is one LONG amazing desk that's as sturdy as all get out! Cat likes it too. :)

  • Hand made Towel Racks. 2

Hand made towel racks..

Towel Rack made from Locust tree branches. Remove thorns, make in any size and decorate with anything you like. Stain with your choice of color, and polyurethane for gloss. Attach rungs with drywall screws, and cover with Rawhide strips. I chose to decorate with Pinecones and Acorns. I Love Log homes and Cabins, and anything with a Southwest motiff. So thats where I came up with this Idea. Also I Love to make things that are Different rather than manufactured.
