About Me:

...I have now taken my life long passion & hobby of Photography & have infused it with my new found passion of Gardening and Flowers. Walking My Garden With Camera In Hand, Is By Far The Greatest Therapy. I'm a novice gardnerer, of only 3 years & truthfully, Never would I have ever imagined that I would have ever taken up gardening as a second hobby But here I am; Now not a day goes by that I'm not in my garden! Walking my front and back yard in the morning, looking at my flowers that were mostly grown by seed or bulbs myself, brings me not only great satisfaction but also pure enjoyment and solice! I'm very at peace when I'm working in my garden. What I've learned in the 3 years of my gardening, I've learned from other gardeners but mainly by going to the Library & taking out Gardening Books researching all the flowers I planted & more as well as also learned the other major basics to gardening to keep your garden flourishing! I have learned a great deal, but I'm still with out a doubt, a Novice and have so much that I need to learn & excited to do so! I'm also a New Homeowner of 3 Yrs; A Home in which took me 15 Years to Save & Purchase, so Now that I'm finally A New Home Owner, I love taking Pride In My Long Awaited Home! So I love learning new quick, easy, simple ideas in which to improve my Home, In Which Also gives me much Delight!

That's ok Sharon...I just learned myself. When you go to your files and while looking at a ...»
particular picture you like in your picture file,if you have WINDOWS, than simply right click on the pic and it will give you a list of options....Choose the one that, as you stated say's Paint. The photo will open up and on top of the page, you'll see a TeXt icon, where you can choose your font, size and color. Type away and simply save the work! Wa'la....one two three... :)

If sooooo sry...Normally I do type in the flowers in all my albums but I was so anxious to get ...»
them into an album one night that I completely forgot about the captions. And Yes, Tiffany Nailed it! It's a Holly hock!!!! I planted some by seed and they were successful....however, this particular one was purchased as a starter plant in the local nursery. Hollyhocks oddly enough, are very inexpensive. Around me, most nurserie's sell starter plants for no more $10 a plant. Only problem with them is that they are Bi-Annuals, But a gardnerer of over 20 years gave me the best advice ever, especially when it came to Bi-Annuals. He told the first time I planted one which was 3 yrs ago....to plant a starter plant each year for 3-4 yrs and then afterwards, every year you'll have your Blooms of holly hocks. Last year, oddly enough my Hollyhock returned prior planting a starter plant....but I was unsure if it was my 1st yr Hollyhock or simply a reseed from a fallen faded bud. However, this year, they did not grow back, so I purchased a starter plant as suggested and this is it! :)

Unsure if you have Shoprite or Stop and Shop's Grocery stores, /or Any other major chain ...»
grocery stores where you live...ck their flower secion, this time of year, they usually start selling BULBS in boxes. You can find multicolored boxes of bulbs up to 15 of them...simply for a couple of dollars. As well as walmart, and if you don't have one near you, I'm sure you can purchase them on Walmart's web site, but they also sell A box/Bag of gladious's bulbs...Usually 20 comes in theres for only $5. Worth every penny!!!!

Gladious.....My favorite Perennial's because they multiply each year and the bulbs for them ...»
are so cheap! Gladious's are the Flower for the month of August which is my birthday and my son and husband are March which is the Daffodils....so my first year gardnening when I finally purchased our first home after 15 years of saving, I thought if I planted our birth month flowers in the garden....it would def. kick off the house being our very own! ;)

Awwww....Thank you.....I used to photograph in college when I first got married. 18 years ago ...»
Today....I used to have my own darkroom, than once Adult life kicked in, I simply took traditional family pics and of course, all pics of my son....However, I just picked up my camera again, recreationally, my original hobby & passion for the first time since....so your comment is very touching! Thank you!
