Hi Vicki. My company can sand the floors for you. I know exactly what you mean I installed ...»
pine floors in my home 5 years ago and my wife and I were just saying we need to refinish them. It's the pine. Its a soft wood so it scratches easily. We have a dog which makes it worse, but if you stain them dark they hold up longer because they don't show as many scratches. also using several coats of a water based poly as opposed to oil based poly will give you better results. Give me a call I'll be glad to come out and give you a quote. John Williams 678-683-5360

KMS, Thank you for the info. I have WiFi . Can you get all your channels such as AMC ...»
...Lifetilme ...ESPN...etc. Are you just watching movies on your Netflix? I have cable tv now and internet through that company....(comcast). They tell me my internet bill will increase by about $20.00 a month when I cut out their cable tv. How does that work for you? Do you like Roko? What model do you recommend.? I would love to cut pay tv . Thank you again, Vicki

  • What plants did these three yellow leaves come from?

Test your "leaf lingo" and win a $250 Home Depot gift card!

I love the golden leaves of fall -- so much so that I took a photo of three of them from my landscape. Can you name all three?

Post your guess in the Comment box below and we'll announce the winner here Monday.

(In case we have multiple correct entries, Hometalk will conduct a random drawing from among them to determine the winner.) Have fun!

Hand wash and hand sand is the best way to go. Too bad so many find it too hard to do it well ...»
and opt for the easy way out.

We have an extreme maritime climate, yet local painters can do exterior work that lasts ten years. We get painters from away who take shortcuts and the work lasts five years if the HO is lucky. It is all in the prep!!!
