Re-Purposed Twin Headboard

My friend gave me a twin head board she had. It sat in my laundry room for a long time. I just didn't know what I could do with it but I felt it had potential. After looking at it day after day and thinking about what its new purpose could be a light bulb went off in my brain "A business sign".
I went out to Hobby Lobby to look for ways to decorate it for my business sign. I bought some wooden letters for the business name, and 2 shabby chic metal flower decorative hooks to cover two big holes.

I also got some little wooden round pieces that I painted and covered holes with on both outer posts and some metal decorative pieces I found in the jewelry making section of Hobby Lobby to also cover holes.
Here it is in my booth
I painted the headboard in a metallic gold and the frame in an antique white. I painted the letters black and hand painted my EST 2013. It now sits in my booth that I rent at a local antique store.
