Mirror Mirror on the Wall.... OUTSIDE!

Our walkout deck had a great view of the ravine and trees around us. Unless of course you are sitting in the seat that looks at the patio door and the brick wall. I remedied this by adding a mirror! It's brilliant! Like a moving picture!
I had this brainstorm of adding a mirror last summer and during the winter, I found the perfect metal framed mirror on an on-line auction for only $25.
Check out my post on my blog!
If you are in the seat on the right, the door and wall are a bit boring.
Added a few things to make this corner even more appealing.

Great addition to the porch. It surprising how much interest it adds. Seems as if you had the perfect place for it. The wrought iron, see-through frame is a great choice and the greenery the mirror reflects is almost like bringing into your space. Your choice of accessories for that area makes a very pretty and cohesive vignette. Love, love the owl! I wanted to add one on our porch but no good place for it. The areas I was considering were all located where there was a good chance the birdies would fly into it. They already fly into the transom of one of our windows and it sets about six feet or more from the porch railing and roof line. Don't mind an accident to the mirror its the poor little unconscious birdie that concerns me. We've had a few of those after they fly into the window. Thankfully, they all have come to after a short while. They kind of shake themselves, take some wobbly steps then walk around a little until they know they can fly again. Oh, one more question, no, actually two questions. (1) I really like your railing system on your porch. Are the top rail and posts metal and are the panels tempered glass or plexiglass? (2) What type of tree branches do you have in the container next to the flowers? They look like a type of birch but you can put what I know about trees without their leaves in the proverbial thimble. Thanks for sharing your project.

I have a mirror in my "tropical" garden, it's not overly large (22x22 with a 2" frame) however it reflects so many plants and portions of the waterfall and stream. It also reflects the foothills & mountains in our So Cal. area...amazing. I have a couple more mirrors........ the wheels are turning!
