You had some vintage furniture and some would be good to refinish or update. I have a brass kettle like the one here and when I looked up mine it said it was from the Civil War and had multiple uses. They sell for $55.00 and up. I have been working on polishing mine.

My mother-in-law was told to not take any less than $35 for the brass piece. Some of the stuff that didn't sell went to the local historical society to use in their restored homes and buildings and such, for display.
