Stencil or stripe painting on polyester curtains?

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me with this. Wanting to know if anyone has ever tried or would recommend stencil or stripe painting on polyester curtains? Example, these curtains, http://www.bedbathstore.com/elblindowigr.html?id=10x84ivelbli
That do say in the description, 100% polyester material that is backed with 100% acrylic foam. Thanks for your help :)

I painted stripes on a polyester curtain panel and turned it into a pillow. Worked out great. Just added Fabric Medium to paint (2 parts paint to 1 part fabric medium) and painted it onto the material, I used frog tape to make the lines, not one leak.

thanks Hertoolbelt- I was hoping to use the wall paint, flat latex, on the curtains, with fabric medium- suppose that will work?

I would use chalk paint. It sticks to pretty much everything!
