Ever finish stainless steel cleaning on your sink or stove, only to have it look grimy and still have white spots when you're done? Stainless steel is almost an oxymoron. It feels like a waste of effort, and I hate all the toxins that are in store bought metal polish. A friend gave me this tip for polishing stainless steel with something so non toxic, it's used on babies -- baby oil!
Step 1: Pour the Oil onto Your Stainless Steel
You only need a little bit of oil to make your stainless steel sparkle (this was actually a bit too much). Just squirt it around the whole area. Step 2: Buff the Oil
Using a thick paper towel, I began to buff the stained area, working the oil into the crevices and crannies in the steel.
That was all it took! After a bit of buffing, my stainless steel was shining even brighter than the day it was installed.
It works on any stainless steel surface, so I also use it on my stove top, oven knobs, and door handle.
My friend swears that it helps keep his stove cleaner, by creating a slick surface that grime doesn't want to stick to.
I'm not so sure, but it certainly polishes things up very nicely with very barely any effort, cost, or toxins.

Does it work on stainless steel refrigerators
I'm wondering does it have to be baby oil ..?? I mean obviously we don't want to use grease but I was thinking not even olive oil but maybe like a coconut oil
