This is growing in a flower bed, came up on its own. It is 3 1/2 to 4 ft. tall.
This is a close-up of the leaf.
This is the whole bush, no flowers.
This is how the leaves grow.

Pecan, transplant it away from your home so it has room to grow.

Whatever kind of tree it is, you had better get it out of there before the roots get so big you can't pull it out. If allowed to mature, it is too close to the foundation. May crack it.

Looks very similar to what in Central AZ is called a "paradise tree" and it's anything but. It is stinky and it's extremely invasive. Also called heavenly or heavens tree, many different names still stinks lol. Even if it's not, get rid of it as Patty from MO said it's too close to your foundation, good luck :)

Thank you all for the input. I do plan to remove it from the bed close to the house, just wanted to know if was something to save. There is a pecan tree on the side of my house; three of you think this is a pecan seedling. For some reason that never occurred to me. I will look closer at those leaves and decide whether to save or destroy. I certainly do not want the "tree of Heaven" after reading about it.

Drake elm!!!! Do you have one in your yard? Or your neighbors yard? They spread there seeds like crazy and have long taproots, get it out while it's small.
