Our Thingamabob

My husband and I like old things. We love our town and had quite a vintage collection of postcards from the earlier years here in New Albany, Indiana.
I had seen something similar to this done with family photos, but not really anything rustic, mostly similar in design.
I hired an Etsy artist to make my barnwood frames at only $9 each, he also did the framing at no additional charge.
My husband had been given some reclaimed wood which we made the main out of. The main was mounted on another thicker board which offset it from the wall.
We bought our black jack chain from Home Depot, attached hooks to both the main and the postcard frames on the backsides and attached to main.
We bought custom cut letters from a metalsmith, drilled holes, and screwed the word "VINTAGE" onto the main.
The backboard which holds the main double duties as a shelf to sit our knick knacks on.
Hope you enjoy looking at it. We love it.
