Here's one I used last night. First time to make these so I don't know how they are going to turn out. Got it off of cooks.com I added a few flakes of crushed red peppers flakes. Don't like real hot pepper rings but wanted a little kick. After sealing the jars, I turn them upside down to help seal and cover the jars. I am thinking of trying okra this way too. PICKLED BANANA PEPPERS OR OKRA 1/2 c. salt 1 qt. vinegar 1 c. water 2 or 3 pods garlic Fresh dill Bring first 3 ingredients to boil. Place garlic, okra or pepper in jar; pack solid. Pour boiling vinegar solution into filled jars. Seal with new lids. Let stand 3 weeks.

Thanks Donna, I think I'll try this too... the others I seen call for boiling the 'Jars" after filling with pepper rings... I really don't have the time to go thru all that. Thanks again!!
