Plant

I got a clipping of this plant a few years ago and it puts out the most beautiful bloom when it does, which isn't very often. Does anyone know what it is and how I should be planting it, how to take care of it, and why it doesn't grow or spread very much? Thank-you!

Looks like an ice plant which is a succulent. The flowers can be either yellow or pink.

@Linda Hopper Guess I'm lucky, no birds wanting mine, I keep so much feed out that the only thing they want besides the feed are my TOMATOES!

@Jeanine I did and it still hasn't done much. I am going to do it again, closer to fall. I don't want Florida's "prelude to hell" heat to put it in shock! Thank-you.!

That is definitely a type of iceplant. It looks like one of the Carpobrotus species. They love sun and heat, so I wouldn't really worry about transplanting them now. If you keep it in a pot, make sure the soil does not retain too much moisture.
