Loretta on Jul 13, 2014I saw where someone had cleaned the solar part good and put clear nail polish on it for the sun to reflect on.Maybe that's the one you saw. Haven't tried it though.Helpful Reply

Carole on Jul 13, 2014They probably need the batteries changing. I know the sun is supposed to top up the batteries but I don't think the batteries last forever. If the new batteries are dearer than what you paid for the lights (which I suspect the solar type might be), then cheaper to toss them out and buy new lights.Helpful Reply

Cynthia H on Jul 14, 2014I take mine apart, clean them, dry them. Sometimes they do need a new battery, but, sometimes it's just that it got wet.Helpful Reply
