Woodland Animal Stools

I'm applying to be a vendor at my local farmer's market to make a little extra income to better support my family. I stumbled across Brooke of Killer B. Designs' toddler stools and loved them and just about immediately went into my garage and built two. When I finally got around to painting, I was convinced by the delight in my 4 year old daughter's face that they were kid-approved.
Here are my first two stools: raccoon and fox. I made a stencil placing the eyes and nose on each animal stool in the same spot. A change in shape and color makes them look more like the animal they emulate.
I also recently made a video of how I put together my second batch of these stools, if you'd like to see a step-by-step guide in fast forward. :)
It took me many trials to paint fawn, but this is what he looks like now. I may "edit" him before making a stencil of his face. Any suggestions are so welcome!
And here's my last stool design - bunny! Bunny was the fastest stool to both design and paint. :)

I mailed in my application to be a vendor on Saturday and I am both nervous and excited to put myself and my amateur wood work out there, but in many ways, the encouragement of friends and family is helping me take baby steps forward.

Check out the post for a link to Killer B Designs if you would like to make some adorable animal stools too!
