Spilt milk in trunk of car

Can not get rid of the smell, I cleaned with vinegar , dish soap , carpet soap sour smell won't go away, been two months or more now. Help please

There's a product called XOXO sold on QVC. I've never used it on spilled milk but have gotten rid of some nasty odors using it.

Most trunk carpets and liners come out. As a matter of fact, my son spilled water in our FIAT and the car started to get musty in this heat and humidity so they just pulled it out to put in the sun to dry (the sun is the best deodorizer). Putting soaps and stuff on top of spills and not being able to wash them out will cause the odors to stay and get worse. I would recommend taking the liner out and hosing it down and let sit in the sun for a few days. Good luck!

My van had a gollon of milk accidentally left in it for a couple of days in August and had the same problem. I searched the internet and found from a medical supplier a bottle/gallon they sell of bio odor control like used in medical offices and it worked. I had tried the household bio stuff,just left a funny odor. This left no odor. MediChoice biological odor remover (unscented) Distributed by Owens and Minor Mechanicsville Va I used 4, 8 oz bottles cleaned the area then saturated it blotted it let dry then repeated twice.

I would go to the pet store and get a product that breaks down enzymes. Take the carpet out of the car, take it over and spread it out over saw horses or something, follow instructions. Also, treat the area in the car that is under that carpeting. (Hint: Milk will dry crusty so you may want to wet down the carpet really good to soften it, let it sit a few minutes and wash it really good before you apply the product. And it may take more than one application. Be sure and do the backside too.)

Spray it liberally with undiluted club soda. Use a shop vac to suck out the soda, or if able to let dry in the sun with all the doors open, then vacuum well. Works better than baking soda as it goes on wet and absorbs the odors better than a dry app.
