Ballard Inspired Monogrammed Waste Basket

Today I'm sharing a super easy way to create a high-end wastebasket for less! This project was inspired by a monogrammed fabric wastebasket I found in the Ballard catalog and I knew I could create the look for a fraction of the cost.
I started with the supplies shown and listed here.
The first step was to create a pattern using paper.
Then cut your fabric:
I added the monogrammed letter using Transfer Artist's Paper. (More details in the link below.)
After applying my monogram, I used spray adhesive to attach the fabric to the can:
A little trim detail attached with hot glue finishes the edges off nicely.
Tada! Now how simple was that?
It looks great even without the monogram!
Just don't try to put it in the microwave.
This is the perfect addition to our bathroom. Have you priced nice wastebaskets lately? They are way overpriced! This is a great alternative and the fabric options are limitless!

Like both ideas combined. How ingenious to use fabric to cover a trash can, would never have considered this. But really like the coffee cans stacked for tall narrow RV can!! And covered with cardboard then fabric -viola👍.
