Look for Good Bones in What Others Discount as Trash!

We found these chairs at a local auction and I made the only bid...$5 for all 4 chairs, and people were shaking their heads like I was nuts. The "bones" were great and I looked at what they could be, not what they were (one had been left outside). A little clean up on the chrome, which was in remarkably good condition, and a trip to our favorite upholstery shop, and we now own some very good quality, heavy, mid-century chairs, which we have been told are either ChromeCraft or perhaps Russell Woodard design, worth hundreds each. Re-upholstery job, including fabric was $75 each.
Before.... a $5 bid at a local auction won them and people laughed.
After re-upholstery - $75 each, including fabric.
Love them at our dining table!
