Client Living Room With Picture Frame Molding

by Angel View Cottage
I am terrible at taking before pics of any of my projects. In fact, in the thirty years I've been doing this I can count on one hand how many before pics I have on a given project. I'm hoping to get better at remembering, but as I get older there's a fat chance of that happening. Anyway, this post is to show how picture frame molding can transform a room.
This is the first coat of paint. We decided on a beautiful blue-gray for the top and white below the chair rail.
Second coat and looking good.
The chair rail is going up and the bottom is getting painted white. I usually paint the light switches but the client wanted them left white. I do what the client wants but not without trying some persuasion first ;-)
We are ready for the picture frame molding to start going up. Any time I can use my nail gun, I'm a happy girl :-)
Another view of the room. I love this color-the perfect shade of blue for this room. The picures never do justice to the colors but I tried to edit them to get it as close as possible.
I do wish I had before pics because although this project was done a few years ago, I do remember how plain everything was. This has really made a gorgeous entryway.
This particular client wanted to do his own decorating so sadly I did not take part in that and have no pictures of what he has done; but, I am very happy with the results of the painting and moldings. One day I will do a tutorial on how to install picture frame and chair rail. For now, I hope you enjoyed the pics~Much Love & Blessings~Patty
