Transforming a Thrifted Chair With Paint

I stopped at a Salvation Army to look at the furniture displayed outdoors. They were already sold so I sauntered indoors. Wedged between a dresser and a dining table was this chair. I had just purchased two cane back chairs for the dining room. I loved the framed style and the cane on the sides - but I didn't love the fabric. This chair was only $10 dollars and it provided me the perfect opportunity to try my hand at painting fabric.
The chair transformed by the paint next to the painted chest in the newly painted dining room...All things are coming together wonderfully!
The chair before on the left and after on the right
This pillow was found at Goodwill. I love the pattern and the colors compliment perfectly with the new colors on the chair and in the dining room.
I was hoping the orange fuzzy parts of the fabric would be completely covered by the soft grey paint. It did not, but it did change it to a peachy-beige that I think looks wonderful with the chair and compliments the pillow
This corner of the dining room transformation is nearly complete. Now I have to make the curtains!
