5 Tips for Hanging Wall Paper

Of all my DIY projects that I have done, wallpapering has not been one of them. I guess it always seemed so difficult and time consuming, besides the visions of stripping paper in tiny little pieces off the walls, was enough to tell me not to even begin. That is until I saw this perfect paper for my little girls bedroom updates. I have put together 5 tips that will help any newbie tackle a wallpaper project and transform your space into something spectacular.
The finished wall with the wall paper. I created a focal point in her room by papering just one wall.
Because this is such a bold pattern I only papered one wall. Before you begin your job make sure to use the simple calculator to determine exactly how much paper you will need. I did not do this and was short and had to order more during the job.
I had this sample piece up for about a month making sure that it was right for the space. Since removing the paper would be much more timely to remove then painting the wall over, make sure you are absolutely sure before your begin hanging your paper.

Adorable room but wallpapering is a messy, tiresome and very frustrating project. But if you think that is bad, just wait until it is time to take it down! HA!
