The first house we bought came with an ugly pink and green bathroom....the sink and bathtub was pink, and the wall tiles were pink and green!! It was seriously the ugliest bathroom I have ever seen! I wanted to transform it, but didn't have the budget for a gut job....so instead I just used paint! (and new flooring)
Before......gross
I painted everything!! The tile, the tub, the sink, the counter top... I was even tempted to paint the floor, lol but got a great deal on flooring...
After...fresh and pretty!
My first attempt to paint the bathroom I went with browns, and it looked almost as awful as the original colors!I didn't paint the tub, sink or counter top just the wall tile, I don't think any color would have looked better with out painting all those things also. But after some inspiration from a local beach house guest house, I picked out the light blue and white and the beach theme and just went with it. I love my bathroom now!!

I am so glad I found your reno....great job and I would have never guessed that the tile was pink! I had used Rustoleum on my countertops and it chipped and looked awful (I am not a new DIY'er). My husband was so upset with me because we just put a new roof, new plumbing and no more money. I showed him your reno and he told me I could do that if it came out good, just like yours! So, I have the green light and you inspired me since he has stifled my creative juices. Thanks!!
