Ellen H on Jul 18, 2014It is a sedum - there are many and this is one of them. It looks like it is in a pot with an echeveria, which is related. One site I just checked says it is poisonous to dogs - I wouldn't recommend letting your dog eat it.Helpful Reply

Ellen H on Jul 18, 2014I looked at a couple of other sites that list sedum as NON-Toxic to pets. I found one reply on Yahoo Answers that says it has low or possible toxicity, usually just stomach upsets, if any. So...I would check a site you trust or ask your vet.Helpful Reply

Leslie on Jul 27, 2014It's a plain ol' jade plant! My dogs have been nibbling at them of years, off and on. BUT! I would not suggest you leave it out in plain sight to tempt them…..It grows like carzy and looks beautiful!Helpful Reply

Lyn Therese on Aug 06, 2015It's not a Jade. It's a succulent. Whether a book says it's safe for pets or not, I would not let your pets eat anything outside. Try green beans, kale or celery for your dog. They crave greens for their stomach to aid in digestion. You can even plant a container of grass for them to nibble on but keep it inside or in a safe place outside to avoid any chemicals or bacteria or fungus gathering on it.Helpful Reply
