"Favorite" Silhouette Challenge

60 Minutes
Medium
Hi this week I participated in the July Silhouette Challenge "Favorite Things." I made paper roses which were inspired by wood roses. Then I turned them into Topiary.
Supplies bought @ JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts
You will need a glue gun, wire cutters, vine ball and sticks, brown floral wire, Sisal mat Styrofoam, burlap ribbon & flowers, flower pot, 3D Rose design from Silhouette America and of course my silhouette Cameo.
Silhouette Cameo Humming along............
Start with a little trial and error then I made the size of the rose cuts smaller. I used my silhouette cameo to cut out the roses from Whitewash Scrapbook paper. I made 5 for each small one and 7 for the larger, Which adds up to 17.
Start rolling straight edge tightly for center
Use the pick for weeding to wrap scrapbook paper around. This creates a nice rose. Once I rolled each one I took the glue gun and put a dime size dot of glue at the center bottom and held the rose together until it cooled.
The center of the rose, two sided paper
Next I focused on the Styrofoam. Shape it to your pot, core out a center, Cut an X in Center of Sisal Glue to the Styrofoam. Push sticks to form Post for topiary in foam snugly. Cut two floral wire, Twist together on each side of post and glue.
I am proud of my "Favorite" Silhouette Cahllenge
Glue vine ball on wire and post. Then Glue each rose to sisal tightly around the base. On the larger Topiary you will stack roses tightly while gluing. Wrap burlap ribbon around pot, glue folding edges to finish and glue. Add Burlap flower with glue to each ribbon on pots.
