ReGrow Green Onions in Water

by TheDIYShow.com
Did you know that green onions will continue to grow if you place them in water?
Youll never have to buy green onions again!
Heres what I used:

Green Onion Scraps

Glass container (visual purposes)

Decorative Shells (visual purposes)

Just enough water to cover roots

Sunlight

Water was changed every 2 days
It took 18 days for the green onions to get to this point.

I cut them up and used them with dinner and decided to drop the scraps back in the water to see what would happen.
And what do you know, they started growing again!
