DIY Customizable Sofa/Console Table

These are great plans to make any size sofa table that you need! I made this sofa/console table for a much needed part of my front room. I've changed these plans into round tables and even into a bench! This time around, I opted for some faux drawers to give it more character.
The table that was originally here was far to big for the space. So I decided to customize these plans to the size I needed.
The plans are really basic and great for beginners!
This will only take an afternoon or so to build, and trust me, it's so addictive you'll want to build a ton more in different sizes :)
For the drawers, they are just 1x6's cut square and I added metal label holders to the front.
This transformed this space and completely opened my room back up.

I love it! I have a thing about tables, particularly narrow ones! I am going to clip this because I love the way you put on the legs...on the outside all the way to the top! Consider this...put on the faux drawers, then put in a bottom, hinge the top at the back and there is a secret storage space! I have decided I love EVERYTHING about this piece! (They could even be made with pallet wood...leaving the rustic look showing...lots of folks would love this! The cost would go way down. You could even sand and paint pallet wood! Experiment with different tops...see if your local granite people will finish out scraps for a small fee! OH my...I see a cottage industry starting up here!

Wow! I absolutely love this. The drawers really finish it off nicely. Well done!
