All too often we choose a living environment based on location, aesthetics, or floor plan. Why not consider health when choosing a home?
Choosing a well-built home is critical, while checking for these signs of potential water problems.
Suggestions for a choosing a safe home include:

1. Low permeability rating 2. Drainage away from the home 3. Dry crawl space and more. 4. Dry basement 5. Correct installation of windows 6. Properly draining coil pans.
Consider adding splash blocks to encourage drainage away from the home once you move! You can always test the home before moving using a dust sample such as an ERMI dust sample. Or consider thermal imaging the home to rule out the presence of hidden moisture.
