Penny-Sided Cabinet Makeover

I re-purposed a black cabinet we had purchased a few years ago with bronze spray paint, chalkboard paint and pennies to go in my foyer.
I spray painted the piece bronze then painted the top, and top of both shelves in chalkboard paint. (I’m really excited to use it for holiday decorating :-) )
Then I used gorilla glue, and glued almost 1000 pennies into the inset part of the sides. It’s $2.50 per square foot.
I love how the multiple tones of copper reflect and add to the effect of the metallic pineapples. If you try this, just be careful of the gorilla glue on your fingers, it takes forever to come off.
Also, make sure you measure the number of pennies that will go across before you place your first row. You’ll be able to see how much extra space you have so you can center the row and avoid a huge gap on one side.

    OH MY GOSH!!! where did you get the Dog & Turtle statue??!! I have a Pitbull & a redeared slider that run around together outside! & Inside! I NEED that! Awesome!
