Moth eaten wool coat

I have an old wool coat with many small holes from moths. Does anyone have any thoughts on how I might use the fabric?

If the holes can't be minded, the world is your oyster... you could make a shawl or wrap from some of the fabric, you could make wristers and scarves etc... Use your imagination and go for it!

Thanks Debbie! I hadn't thought of making a wrap and there is plenty of fabric because it is a full length coat and most of the holes are in the bodice of the coat. Great idea!

Hi Joy! Could you upload a photo of your coat? That will make it easier for other hometalkers and myself to give you better answers and ideas! You can add photos by clicking the upper right drop arrow and select "edit" (see screenshot). Hope this helps! :)

Unfortunately, I do not have a good quality camera and you can't see it well. Maybe this will help. It is a full length camel colored lightweight wool coat with long sleeves and a pleat in the back. It hangs much like a swing coat, very full.

There are about 10 small holes and all but one are in the sleeves and front bodice of the coat.
