I have a lot (20 pcs) of used blinds, what project can I do with it?

Different sizes, some are bamboos, I hate to let go of these, thinking I know I can do something about it, please any suggestion?

You can cut the bamboo ones and make place mats, coasters or table runners out of them. Also I have seen patio rugs made from bamboo shades. When you cut them with the direction of the bamboo, be sure and cut a little wider so you can remove a couple strips of the bamboo so you can tie the string to keep it from unraveling.

Simply paint a picture on it and hang it up in a sunroom or patio or porch for decoration.

There are several sets of instructions on how to use mini blinds to make roman shades. Very clever. My father in law had a small round patio outside his bathroom fenced in bamboo. Don't remember how there were held erect, but you could certainly do a 2x4 frame. Also, they single bamboo poles are great for holding plants erect in the garden as they grow

I covered a wall in apartment years ago with reed screening. It was totally awesome.. I have a shed that I can see from my tv room, I'm planning on doing the same. to it. Bamboo would work as well. Don't know your taste, but you could then anchor drift wood, air plants, sea shells, whatever.....

I am using mine as a privacy fence! Yep....there is a spot of open area between us an the neighbor behind us. Because we are otherwise heavily treed I wanted something more organic other than actual fencing. My pieces were 48 inches wide and close to six feet long. I went to Home Depot and picked up a bundle of 4 foot stakes. I pounded them into the ground every 3-4 feet in the empty space. Then, starting by a tree I wired the top and bottom of the bamboo around the tree to be my starting place. From there I wired thru the bamboo to each post the same way near the top and near the bottom. Finished at another tree. I have 'fenced' about 20 feet and have gained my privacy again! When winter comes I will take it down and store it till spring! The neighbor loves it.

Cut and wrap around trash cans and plant pots, using hemp or other natural materials, make valances, cut 12 inch strips and weave for a stunning wall decoration.

Bought a bamboo specifically to shade my deck from the west sun. Think you could secure the bamboos on chain link fencing if you have one. (I hate chain link - reminds me of a prison compound!.) Could also use the bamboo to wrap large pots, or as Lee C Green suggested - a floor mat..

Use the slats from vinyl or aluminum blinds as plant markers. Cut them in 6-8 inch strips and write the name of the plant on it. Of course, don't forget to push them into the ground by your plant! And, don't forget the botanical name of the plant!

If you use them as plant markers only use them with non food plants, paints and finishes will leach into the soil...dangerous.

I see my response has already been suggested. . using them as privacy fencing. . . attaching them to already standing chain link fencing or make supportive backing for them crisscrossed or framed and then turn into a fence. . . weave the individual pieces of the blinds into your chain link. . can paint them first and do a pattern weave to make it custom.
