Using duvet covers and pillow covers are a good way to change the room. Maybe paint one wall, or take an artist canvas and paint it with a color to match an accessory or even a color in a pillow or the duvet. I have also used wallpaper on a large frame for a bigger statement. Hope this helps

Keep the room a soft neutral like sage or pale golden yellow. Then change out the accessories, such as curtains and bed linens to coincide with the season. You can even change out the chachkes and pictures on the walls. Good luck!
