No Canning Required: How to Preserve Your Blueberry Harvest

I really don't can, so when I brought home over 50lb of blueberries last summer I had to find ways to preserve them that didn't require canning. Here are some of my recipes for things you can make ahead and freeze for later, as well as recipes you can make with frozen blueberries!
Blueberry muffins are a great make-ahead treat because they freeze well and thaw quickly for convenient snacks and breakfasts!
Blueberry Lemon Bread that you can freeze sliced then pull out and serve when company shows up unexpected is a fabulous way to use up berries!
You can make either of the recipes above with fresh or frozen berries. I use fresh and freeze the breads.

Here are two recipes I make with frozen berries...

Blueberry Refrigerator Jam is so simple to make and it's 100% better than jam from the store. It's sweet and fresh and amazing on homemade biscuits.
Blueberry Cobbler with homemade vanilla ice cream. Oh! Heavenly! This cobbler cooks in the crockpot and it's great for those hot summer days when you really don't want to heat up the kitchen by turning on the oven.
See? You don't have to can or dehydrate to save your berries! You can quickly freeze or bake and freeze goodies for quick and easy enjoyment all year!
