How to Make Your Own Fruit Juice

If you have fruit trees or you love your local fruit vendors, this is a DIY you really need to know about. Not all fruits are suitable for steam juicing, but plums and grapes sure are!
This post describes how to make fruit juice with a steam juicer, specifically. There are other methods, but this one is my favorite for these kinds of fruits.
A steam juicer is really not that expensive (especially compared to buying commercial juice for your family) and it is a wonderful way to extract juice and nutrients. It does take up some space - about the same amount as a canner.
This is plum juice made from plums that grow on our homestead. It tastes like it looks - rich and full of health.
