Coastal Inspired Netted Jars

I HEART THE BEACH!! Don't you? Sand, sun, seagulls, shells...what's not to love? So I made up some coastal inspired jars for my love of the beach, and I wrapped them with fisherman's netting because that's beachy, too, right?
Fisherman's netting wrapped jars.
I started with some jars I had around.

- I kept some plain

- I dyed some of using a food coloring/ glue technique**

- and I had some of the blue mason jars on hand as well.

**To dye the jars, I used this tutorial : http://www.lilyshop.com/how-make-colored-mason-jars

I used glue instead, though. I explain it a little more on the blog post.
- I cut a piece of fisherman's netting a little bigger than the size of the jar with enough to wrap around and then some.

- I ran a line of E6000 glue along the side of the jars and wrap one side of the netting over, then let dry. And then trimmed off the excess.

- Next, I ran another line of glue along the same place and wrapped the other side of the netting, then let dry.

I trimmed off the excess so the seam line looked something like this picture. (I didn't wrap the rim of the jar until after, but I forgot to take a shot of the seam line beforehand.)

You can see full directions on the blog post.
Although I'm a little partial to the greenish blue ones, I think I like that I made them using several different colors of glass.
