Master Bathroom Makeover on a Budget - From Blah! to Urban Cottage!

$300

Medium
When we were ready to begin work on the Master Bathroom of the we were about 75% through and had used about 75% of the budget. We needed to create a space that fit with the rest of the home, "Urban Cottage." We scoured the scrap wood pile and using some leftover 1x4's, we added a board and batten treatment to the walls for starters.
From there, we revamped the mirror, added new paint and fixtures and flooring, and for about $300 we have an updated and very cute space.
The Master Bathroom After. All painted and spiffed and staged.
This is what we started with. Pretty vanilla and downright boring.
We totally revamped the Mirror, creating a Pottery-Barn Inspired project with leftover wood and moldings and a new Lowe's fixture.
Baskets from Lowe's.
There is so much more to see in this cute Bathroom Makeover. Come on over to The Everyday Home and see all the details. Follow the link below.

Great job, @The Everyday Home/Barb Garrett, I love it! I actually added a basket to my bathroom a few months ago, but did it a bit differently. I spray painted it a bright, shiny red to coordinate with some other things in the bathroom. My TP holder is in a very odd spot and hard to reach when sitting on the toilet, so I hung the basket on the side of my glass shower wall, which is right next to the toilet and put the TP in it. I used sticky-sided Velcro to keep it there (it's not holding up well, so I may switch to those hooks that suction on to glass). But it looks really cute and solves the problem of having to injure my back to reach for the TP in the very odd place where it was put by the builder.
