I bought these terracotta plant pots ages ago and after some time I finally got around to decorate them with some fabric decoupage to pretty them up and get them ready for some super house plants. Just in time for Spring!

Terracotta plant pot make-over materials

I decided to paint the pots with a Rust Oleum chalky finish furniture paint in a colour called bramwell. It gives them a nice neutral color for the background.

I cover all the pots with two coats of paint and also paint inside the pots .

When all three pots are dry I get to cutting out some fabric flower motifs for the design. I choose to place them evenly on the pot .

I use Mod Podge gloss sealer and cover the top as well as underneath the motif.

Arrange the designs as you'd like and stick them firmly into pots

Leave them to dry and once they are fully dry, pop your favourite plants in them!

The finished project looks beautiful. What's fun about this technique is that all of your pots will be unique.
