The original picture isn't what the headboard originally looked like, instead of the soft fabric that shifts in color from gold to green it was like elmo fur, something from an "adult establishment".
I knew that since this was a vintage piece that isn't wood and had the finish peeling off, there was a considerable amount of work for me. I had to sand the entire finish off and start from scratch. But...
After about 5 hours of work and 10 dollars in product I created a headboard for my friend for her wedding gift. I am so thrilled with how it turned out, and so was she. All I needed was some spray paint, sand paper and top coat to create a brand new piece. Everything I do is easy and has a certain amount of dedication, but with enough discipline it came together with no flaws
