Painting

Gilligan, I am Your Painter

This is why I would never agree to be on a Renovation TV show. This is what I looked like when we started painting our living room with a sprayer. Eyes protected...check, hair protected...check, lungs protected...check. Safety first....fashion last...obviously. The title to this picture is what my husband said once he stopped laughing...LOL

You look like a woman with a purpose! How did your room turn out...ready for pictures yet?

Room turned out great! We did 3 colors on newly textured 19' walls and ceiling, so it took multiple coats. I posted the entire living room remodel previously, but this is the finished product.

Think of it this way. If the renovation fails, you can always get a job robbing banks or 7-11"s

You cannot be to careful when working.

LOL, Carroll...that's exactly how my husband said it, in his best Darth Vader impression.

It's so nice to have this room done. It was stripped to studs in some areas and bare concrete and was a storage room for other projects we had going on....which was really embarassing, considering this is the room you see when the front door is opened!

I think you should be on a home improvement show. It would be more helpful and realistic. I go crazy watching people with perfect hair and makeup and no safety gear doing home improvement stuff. I manage to completely cover myself in whatever material I am working with, no matter what I do.

Leslie, I have seen enough DIY shows to know you would be on target with your attire. It's the project that must look good, great. Forget about it! YOU look fine. Remember the project has to look good.
