Harvesting Garlic

Each year I plant garlic in the late summer. It is one of those crops that does very well in my garden and this year I was so pleased wight eh harvest. Garlic is harvested when the tops start to turn yellow and die back.
I was a little concerned because the stalks seems a bit skinny I wondered how large the garlic bulbs would be. However the tops were starting to die back so it was time to harvest.
Was I ever pleased with the harvest, many of the bulbs are large!
The garlic was placed on an old door screen to dry for a few days then I will attempt to braid the garlic and hang it to dry completely.

Looks like you've got a great harvest. I am going to have to give garlic a try one of these days.
