5 Generations in One Garden Bed

I come from a long line of people who love to garden. It all started with my great grandmother (and her relatives before her, I am sure) and extends to this day with my garden and my daughter's love of sunflowers.
I recently transformed a large vegetable garden bed into a mixed perennial and vegetable garden area.
It is the perfect spot to showcase the favorite plants of my relatives, mainly all gone but a few still with me.
It's nostalgic for me to wander through this bed and to see their favorite plants growing in my garden.
Five generations of plant lovers, each with their own favorite flower are growing in my main garden bed.
The plants growing on this neat bean teepee are heirloom bean seeds from the originals grown by my great grandmother in the late 1800s.
No prizes for guessing my daughter's favorite flower!
