I am a VERY SENIOR CITIZEN and my photo shows my gray hair so I know these guys are aware of my age. This is harassment and it must stop! MESSAGE TO YOU GUYS SENDING OUT THIS KIND OF EMAILS: Hometalk is NOT A DATING SITE!

Contact the company and see why. Maybe your private settings has changed? Contact Facebook and they can see what going on for you.

Oh my! You probably need to email this website & let them know this is going on! I have not had this problem but I'm not on here that much except to see others projects! I don't comment a lot either. Could be they are trying to flatter you so they can scam you out of money! Some women are vulnerable & maybe because you are older they think that you are. But obviously they are wrong!

@Jeanette S I'm so sorry this is happening to you. It's so disconcerting. I hope the site administrators are able to find out who is harassing you and block them. What a shame to use a great community this way. I really hope this won't discourage you from staying here. I love your comments and projects. I would encourage you to review your settings and disconnect this site from Facebook, if you have them linked. I wish there was something I could do to help.

You can only receive messages from other members who you follow - so you can simply unfollow the individuals who you do not want to receive message from.

I never marked "follow" on this guy. There was another one that sent me an email being flirty and I never followed him either! But he stopped sending emails. UPDATE: He is still emailing me...I don't even know how to send an email, only answer them. It told him this was not a dating site and to stop sending email. I have received 2 more. I have turned this over to Miriam! I am well passed the age to flirt with guys! The only guy could get excited about is one with a strong arm to assist me in getting down my front steps! HA!
