Need Suggestions!

When entering the front door there are 1/2 walls with an opening into the "Living Room" area. We are needing suggestions as what would a person "display" on the wood on top of the 1/2 walls!?!? Or, do you not display anything??? Getting the house ready to put on the market!! Thank you for your input!! :)

Why not simply place something like pendent lamps from the ceiling over the walls. Nothing to large but at different heights.
