How to Grow a Pineapple From The Leafy Top

I love cut and come again fruits and vegetables. They are so satisfying to experiment with and a great way to introduce children to gardening.
With this project, patience is a virtue though. It takes several seasons for a plant to produce the fruit.
it is an easy project and the pineapple you grow will be much sweeter than those from the stores.
Growing a pineapple is a very easy project to do.
This pineapple is unripe. It needs to start changing color before you can harvest it.
Before the pineapple plant will produce the fruit, it will flower. What a great milestone! It means the fruit is soon to come!
