Boy's Fabulous Bathroom Redo

$500.00
1 Week
Medium
Another one of my favorite's. After moving into this house I decided I needed to redo as much as possible for as little as possible. This whole bathroom cost me under $500.00!
Started building the exisiting cabinets up!
First, I ripped out the tile and the oak cabinet! I got too excited and forgot to take all the before pictures (Typical me)! You can see the floors here were ugly (Not too bad, but not what I wanted either). Oh and the counter tops were mauve...YUCK!
Here you can see I made the curtains really tall so your eyes would go up with the walls! I have high ceilings so you always use what you have (at least that's what my Mom always said, lol)!
New tiled floors
Next, I tiled the floors in this wood looking tile and redid the baseboards with a wide piece of wood, kinda like Restoration Hardware has in their store.
Then, I completed the building of the base of the cabinet and stained it walnut with a burnt umber stain from General finishes. I added baskets for cute appeal.
Next, I needed cheap counter-tops, so I contacted my stainless steel guy and we made this counter for under $100.00. Better yet, stainless is a natural anti-bacterial counter-LOVE IT! I found the faucets on clearance at Home Depot.
The mirror is from TJ Maxx for $30.00 (on Clearance, I know you're shocked).
I found the cabinet at TJ Maxx for $30.00 as well.
I also found those moose towel holders at Tuesday Morning's for $5.00. THEY ARE SO CUTE! Especially for a boys bathroom.
