Custom Painted Checkers-Themed 1/2 Table

I created this hall table / game table by using 1/2 of a vintage table top I picked up at an estate sale. After using some found, vintage table legs, I installed them along with a stout support frame underneath to make this one-of-a-kind distressed Checkers table.
The checker pattern was created by masking off the difference squares during the four-coat paint process.
I used some vintage table legs I found a little while back to compliment the 1/2 table top.
I turned the back table legs forward so that the back would sit flush against a wall or couch.
I custom cut the top back piece of wood to give the whole table a good stop point since checkers might (and hopefully) would be played on top.
Lots of masking and patience!
I love distressing pieces and this one was a blast.
All ready to go!

Fantastic! I would love to see the parts before you put it all together. Can't imagine this was anything but a solid piece! Your work is seamless.
    • @Miriam I Thanks so much Miriam. I'm horrible at remembering to take pics of things before I get started. One of the things I'm trying to remember constantly!
